Police Blotter: Terrible Teens and Baring it All Near Butte

10:48 a.m. Neighbors on Parliament Drive can’t seem to get along.

12:02 p.m. A frisky feline bit an employee at an animal hospital.

12:16 p.m. Rotten teens pulled all the tomatoes out of an Evergreen garden and then smashed them all over the cars in the driveway.

2:17 p.m. A backpack, an Ipod and a Bluetooth headset were stolen from a car.

2:59 p.m. A man believed he was being scammed over the telephone, so he tried to call the “scam line,” but was unable to get through.

3:05 p.m. A young man with a heavy accent claiming to be college student was asking children if their parents were home. He had books and a backpack.

3:14 p.m. A 13-year-old autistic boy has a habit of running away from his Kokanee Bend area home. He was found about two hours later a half mile from the Old Red Bridge in Columbia Falls.

4:28 p.m. Two men were seen walking naked on Interstate 90 near Butte.

6:42 p.m. Someone in Evergreen believes neighbor kids were trying to break into their Spruce Park home. There was a brick beneath the caller’s daughters’ window.

8:17 p.m. Near Creston Road a man was thought to be suspicious.

10:48 p.m. A boy in Hungry Horse called in to report that his dad was wasted and throwing things.

11:02 p.m. Flames at the dump turned out to be the incinerator.

3:39 a.m. A large bonfire and a loud drunken party were reported on Edgewood Drive.

The departments responded to 172 calls for service.
