Montana Unemployment Rate Falls to 4 Percent

HELENA – Montana’s unemployment rate fell slightly to 4 percent in July.

The state Labor Department says the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell by 0.1 percent in July, after falling 0.1 percent in June.

The decreases over the past two months follow a string of five months of increases.

Nationally, the unemployment rate increased from 5.5 percent to 5.7 percent in July.
