Police Blotter: Asleep in The Ditch and the Waiting Room

6:29 a.m. A man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans was reportedly looking at cars.

7:43 a.m. A car in Somers had a door ajar and the glove box was open.

7:46 a.m. A cabin on Ashley Lake Road was broken into. Nothing was missing.

8:03 a.m. Deputies were unable to locate an injured coyote.

9:30 a.m. Two firefighters from Browning were taking a nap in a ditch. They were on their way to Bigfork.

12:51 p.m. Two extremely intoxicated men were sleeping in the waiting room of a Bigfork business. One man was unresponsive. He was taken to the hospital.

6:10 p.m. A mother got a call from her son’s wife telling her that all her son’s clothes would be thrown away.

8:16 p.m. Someone found 29 air conditioning units at the Olney dumpsters.

8:45 p.m. A shotgun caused some problems on Harmony Road. No shots were fired.

The departments responded to 196 calls for service.
