HELENA – A Kalispell woman has claimed a $40,000 Powerball prize.

Montana Lottery officials say Tamara Hamilton bought her winning ticket for the Aug. 6 drawing at a Town Pump in Kalispell. She claimed her winnings Thursday.

Hamilton won $10,000 by matching four of the five white balls and quadrupled her prize because she matched the Power Play multiplier, which was four.
