Police Blotter: Shot Foot and Peace Graffit

6:37 a.m. A dead dog was blocking traffic on West Reserve.

6:49 a.m. Someone spray-painted a peace sign on the Lakeside Elementary School.

9:46 a.m. An $1,800 piece of stolen building equipment was recovered at a pawnshop. A former employee had sold it for some quick cash.

10:55 a.m. Someone listed a home for rent on Craigslist. The home was actually for sale.

3:36 p.m. After a disagreement turned physical, a 30-year-old Marion man was shot in the foot by his tenant with a .44 magnum. The landlord had allegedly took a swing at his renter but missed. The renter had tried to shoot at the ground, but instead hit the landlord’s foot.

4:13 p.m. Two men were cited for improper dumping.

4:33 p.m. Dogs are living in the dirt while their home is under construction.

5:11 p.m. Smoke was pouring out of an abandoned trailer on Spring Creek Road.

5:33 p.m. A mountain Lion was spotted near the city.

8:30 p.m. A man driving a bronze truck fled the Packer’s Roost after he assaulted a man who had go to North Valley Hospital.

10:08 p.m. Several people were involved in a fight at the Packer’s Roost. Everyone was gone when deputies got there.

The departments responded to 153 calls for service.
