Police Blotter: Anarchy on the Road and Drinking to Hysteria

8:03 a.m. A jet that was attempting to land at Glacier International Airport was having gear problems. The plane landed safely.

10:19 a.m. Allegedly, a 14-year-old who does not have a license was driving around with two kids in the car.

10:08 a.m. A man and woman who were fighting were separated and told to act like adults.

11:20 a.m. An older woman, who fell several days ago, called in from the hospital because she thought someone was in her home. Her daughter called in later with more questions.

1:52 p.m. A drunken man wanted to drive home, but his friend wouldn’t let him.

2:53 p.m. A report of a very thin horse on Whitefish Stage turned out to be unfounded.

4:14 p.m. The traffic light at Reserve Street and Whitefish Stage Road was broken. A caller said, “things are getting pretty ugly.”

5:50 p.m. An 11-year-old Evergreen boy would not obey his mother.

7:25 p.m. A drunken and “hysterical” woman was arguing with a relatively subdued man in Evergreen.

8:42 p.m A hay bale was on fire. It was extinguished.

The departments responded to 164 calls for service.
