Police Blotter: Sleeping it Off and Another Mountain Lion Sighting

5:57 a.m. A man that was taking a nap under a picnic table behind a Montana Highway 35 business was told to scram.

8:41 a.m. An 11-year-old boy was bit by a dog near Lost Creek Drive.

11:47 a.m. Authorities were trying to locate a man who was seen cutting antlers off a deer that was lying in the ditch.

12:14 p.m. Someone on East Oregon Street in Kalispell smelled something indescribable.

2:09 p.m. A woman called in to report that her ex-boyfriend and her had an argument.

2:31 p.m. A man thought that his cell phone was stolen. Then he realized he had left it at the bar.

5:10 p.m. Items were stolen from a porch on East Oregon Street in Kalispell.

5:17 p.m. Someone thought it was suspicious that their motion light didn’t work.

9:51 p.m. A woman said a car pulled up behind her and flipped on its lights. She pulled over to let it pass, but the car just pulled in behind her.

11:39 p.m. A man was arrested for assault with a weapon after a woman jumped on his back. He wanted her to move out of their Whitefish home, but she didn’t want to leave. He subsequently wielded a revolver.

2:51 a.m. A very large mountain lion ran across West Reserve Street in Kalispell.

The departments responded to 148 calls for service.
