Police Blotter: Drug Deal Gone Bad and Pool Fight

1:40 a.m. A man called in and said he was going to be assaulted with a pool stick.

7:53 a.m. Someone had been shooting birds since 5 a.m.

9:47 a.m. A fight broke out in the pool and spa area of a Somers hotel on U.S. Highway 93. A window was broken.

10:50 a.m. Political signs on West Reserve Drive were damaged.

1:10 p.m. A woman gave a man a bag of marijuana, but when she asked for money the man hit her. He was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs.

2:17 p.m. A young man shot himself in the leg with an arrow.

3:39 p.m. A young woman in the canyon said she is being stalked b a 20-year-old man.

6:32 p.m. On fire: a stove in Columbia Falls.

6:45 p.m. A trapped moose freed itself from a fence and ran toward the river.

6:57 p.m. A man on Dogwood Avenue said his ex-girlfriend pushed him to the ground and twisted his arm.

7:05 p.m. A man said he was in possession of U.S. Forest Service equipment.

7:39 p.m. A man walked out of a pawnshop and the alarm went off. He is suspected of theft.

The departments responded to 161 calls for service.
