KALISPELL – State and federal wildlife officials are seeking information in the death of a male grizzly bear south of Polebridge.

The animal’s carcass was found in early October in the Coal Creek drainage of the North Fork Flathead River.

Anyone with information is asked to call Warden Capt. Lee Anderson of the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks, at 406-751-4561; the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Missoula, at 406-329-3000; or the FWP poaching hot line, 1-800-TIP-MONT.

Officials say callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
