Food for the Brain and Tummy of Business Owners

By Beacon Staff

Every month, Montana West Economic Development offers an interactive lunch program with an expert speaking on various aspects of starting and running a growing business. They call them “E2”, or “Entrepreneur to Entrepreneur”. Typically there is a speaker, lunch and some discussion and networking during the session. Every one that I’ve been to has been worth the time, even without the free lunch.

This month, they must have had a cancellation, because they have me on the agenda. I’ll be speaking on the “One Number” that drives your entire business (and no, it isn’t cash flow, though that is quite important) and how – in one way or another – everything you do must focus in making that number grow or remain steady.

We’ll be doing these announcements in the Beacon each month so that Kim and the MWED can reach a bigger audience of entrepreneurs and business owners, and so you can get to know the speakers a little before you show up for the E2 discussions. These days, all of us in the “help businesses” business know that you can use all the help you can get.

The E2 sessions are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at FVCC Arts and Tech Building, Room 144. A complimentary lunch is on the MWED, usually pizza and soda or the like, and starts at 11:45 with the speaker or program from 12:00-1:00 pm.
