Police Blotter: Car Surfing and Damaged Signs

6:56 a.m. Political signs and a mailbox were damaged.

7:23 a.m. Someone’s father-in-law blew a fuse.

7:53 a.m. A man received a voice mail from a boy who said he was looking for his sister because his mother was in jail. It turned out that the boy’s mother was not in jail.

9:18 a.m. An Elm Avenue resident in Evergreen is missing their television. It was stolen.

1:55 p.m. There was an abandoned jalopy on Peters Ridge Road.

2:23 p.m. A man, who fell off a ladder on Danielson Road in Kalispell, said he hurt all over and might have a broken arm.

2:26 p.m. A 17-year-old male, who tried to surf on the hood of a car in the Columbia Falls High School parking lot, fell off and was hit by a passing car. Afterward, he was conscious and alert but still taken to the hospital.

2:43 p.m. A woman says her neighbors are always watching her.

4:18 p.m. A man said he was headed for the Justice Center with a gun. He never showed up.

4:20 p.m. Someone’s brother may have been on drugs. He wouldn’t leave a Kalispell trailer court.

5:20 p.m. A man in Hungry horse said his former mother-in-law followed him home and harassed him. She won’t give back some of his clothes.

7:11 p.m. A woman said she was being harassed on MySpace.

12:20 a.m. Three people were caught after they attempted to flea a vehicle that had rolled.

3 a.m. A woman sent another woman threatening text messages.

The departments responded to 151 calls for service.
