Burglar Captured and Pit Bull vs. Goat

8:03 a.m. A creepy looking man has been seen near a school zone for the past several days.

9:30 a.m. A man returned to the same Evergreen business six or seven times.

9:31 a.m. Someone thought a dog had been locked in a van for weeks. The dog, though, was healthy and had been let out. The animal warden did tell the dog’s owner that leaving a dog in a locked car looks bad.

11:30 a.m. A 2-year-old child was found on Birch Drive in Evergreen.

11:45 a.m. A deputy captured a burglar fleeing on foot near Lone Pine State Park. The burglar had robbed at least two homes and was caught with drugs, a cell phone, a backpack, an Ipod and $400.

1:23 p.m. A dog was shot with a pellet gun on Black Bear Lane.

1:56 p.m. A woman on Tamarack Lane reported her dog missing. The woman said her neighbor told her if he saw the dog again he would shoot it. The dog has been gone for two weeks.

4:14 p.m. A pit bull attacked a goat. The dog was taken to the pound; the goat to the vet.

7:03 p.m. A Nicholson Drive resident in Evergreen said a neighbor harassed their son and an elderly couple who lives nearby.

8:05 p.m. Taillights of a car parked on Birch Lane in Kalispell could not withstand the foot of an angry man.

9:05 p.m. Heard: kids and cars.

The departments responded to 124 calls for service.
