Dead Horse and Attempted Wife Theft

5:05 a.m. A trucker hit several horses on US Highway 93.

8:05 a.m. A dog was pestering elk at an elk farm.

8:23 a.m. Horses on the loose left a mess on another man’s property.

9:33 a.m. A 36-year-old man was convulsing; he stopped using his drug of choice.

11:32 a.m. A horse that was struck by a truck driver on US Highway 93 was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

1:31 p.m. A dog of German decent had a problem.

1:58 p.m. Four to five dogs were feeding on a dead deer in the ditch on Ashley Lake Road.

4:43 p.m. Juveniles in Columbia Falls were smoking cigarettes.

9:17 p.m. An East Mountain Meadows man called a married man in Chicago and told him he was going to take his wife away from him.

The departments responded to 127 calls for service.
