Two Men Die in Vehicle Crashes Near Kalispell

By Beacon Staff

Authorities say two men have died in separate vehicle crashes near Kalispell.

Trevor Osler, 21, of Kalispell, was killed when his vehicle rolled over on Montana 35 near the Flathead River at about 1 a.m. Wednesday. Eight hours later, an 84-year-old Whitefish man was killed in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Whitefish Stage Road and West Reserve Drive. His name was not released.

The Montana Highway Patrol says Osler’s vehicle rolled after hitting a utility pole at a high rate of speed. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people were injured in the second crash that killed the Whitefish man. Authorities say a man driving a pickup truck ran a red light and smashed into the Whitefish man’s car.

The man’s wife and the driver of the pickup were treated at a Kalispell hospital.
