Caught Counterfeiting and Man Hit on Highway

1:04 a.m. A tree, then a bunch of trees, fell on a power line near Elk Ridge Road. There were flames.

7:16 a.m. Lotto tickets, among other things, were stolen from a car on Solberg Drive.

9:20 a.m. An elk was injured.

9:42 a.m. There was an abandoned snowmobile on the ice at Lake Blaine.

10:31 a.m. Reportedly, an icicle fell from the roof of a building onto a gas line, forcing the evacuation of two businesses.

11:31 a.m. A woman’s estranged husband keeps harassing her.

11:50 a.m. Stolen: $500 worth of booze from a club on Big Mountain.

3:38 p.m. A student at a local high school was busted for using counterfeit cash.

4:08 p.m. Some vicious dogs on Lake Drive in Columbia Falls could not be found.

4:23 p.m. Someone parked near the Old Steel Bridge thought it was suspicious when a woman parked her car, got out and started walking. Her dog was with her.

5:09 p.m. A car that has been parked on Haskill Basin Road for the past three days is not an abandoned vehicle. In fact, it belongs to a contractor who is working in the area.

6:08 p.m. A pregnant woman had stomach pain after she was involved in a motor vehicle accident.

7:45 p.m. A man thought his wife took a bunch of pills. She didn’t. The ambulance came and she refused to go to the hospital.

9:04 p.m. A woman hit a male pedestrian while driving on Montana Highway 206. She took the man, who possibly had a broken arm, to a nearby gas station. Eventually, he was taken to the hospital.

1:21 a.m. Someone said they saw two people arguing through a window as they drove by a house.

3:23 a.m. There was a man seen running down Second Avenue West in Kalispell.

The departments responded to 165 calls for service.
