Refusal to Work and Trapped in a Car Wash

1:03 a.m. Cows were seen on Airport Road.

6:39 a.m. A Martin City woman kicked her ex-husband out of her home.

10:51 a.m. Someone was trapped in a car wash in Columbia Falls.

11:03 a.m. A man who called a woman and left a harassing message called back later and apologized. Law enforcement advised he make the call.

3:18 p.m. A horse named “Ben” fell through the ice of a pond at Rebecca Farms. He was rescued.

3:24 p.m. A car on East Oregon in Kalispell was keyed.

5:42 p.m. Someone impersonating a bill collector called a woman and said she owed money on her electrical bill. She had already paid it.

6:45 p.m. A wallet, credit cards and prescription pills were stolen near Happy Valley.

7:33 p.m. Reportedly someone saw a person hand something through their car window to another person. Authorities investigated and found it to be a legal transaction.

9:14 p.m. A 16-year-old girl went to jail after she slapped her mother.

9:31 p.m. A woman, who stole money from another woman’s car, confessed and returned the loot.

10:51 p.m. Someone’s employer was worried about them because they were two hours late for work. A deputy located the missing employee and found nothing wrong, other than his refusal to work.

11:54 p.m. Allegedly a woman’s ex showed up at her house with a rifle, then left. A bit later he returned, then left again.

The departments responded to 152 calls for service.
