Former Flathead High QB in Shrine Game

Former Flathead High School and Central Washington quarterback Mike Reilly is scheduled to play in the 84th annual East-West Shrine Game Saturday in Houston.

The game will be televised on ESPN2, beginning at 2 p.m. MST.

Reilly, who will wear No. 13, is one of three quarterbacks on the West roster. The others are Tom Brandstater of Fresno State and Stephen McGee of Texas A&M.

Reilly was also invited to play in the Texas vs. The Nation All-Star Challenge game on Jan. 31 in El Paso, Texas.

Reilly passed for 3,706 yards and 37 touchdowns in helping his team to a 10-2 record. Central Washington fell 38-35 to Montana, which advanced to the FCS championship game.

Reilly passed for 2,280 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior at Flathead High in 2002.
