Deranged Man and a Sobering Meal

11:39 a.m. A 19-year-old female was reported missing. She lives on Gracie Lane.

11:58 a.m. Someone broke into a cabin on Strawberry Court in Kalispell.

1:21 p.m. A man, who called the police on his wife because she was hysterical, found himself behind bars after he broke a telephone. The dispatcher, who took the initial call, reported that they could hear a woman screaming in the background. The woman said the man strangled and punched her.

1:45 p.m. A man who has a felony warrant out of Missoula County was seen at a Kalispell bank.

3:24 p.m. The humane society received a prank call from a man who said he “shoots cats whenever he can catch them.” Reportedly he also said he spays and neuters them on his own. The name, phone number and address the man provided, were all fake.

5:47 p.m. A woman called 911 because she couldn’t connect to the Internet.

7 p.m. A woman said teenagers were calling her home and making nasty remarks about her family. The telephone company knows the telephone number the teens were calling from.

7:22 p.m. Someone was bitten by a dog in the parking lot at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

8:42 p.m. An intoxicated man called authorities looking for his wife. Apparently he was so drunk that she left the house and took the kids. He wanted to make sure everyone was OK.

10:32 p.m. Deputies responded to a home on Whitefish Stage Road after a woman said she could hear someone, or thing, knocking on her door. While she was on the phone she said she heard banging on her wall. Deputies arrived and said there were no fresh tracks in the area.

1:51 a.m. A woman’s drunken ex-boyfriend wouldn’t leave her Collier Lane home. Deputies arrived and gave the man a ride to a Mexican restaurant on Main Street.

2:24 a.m. A clerk at a local convenience store said surveillance footage revealed a woman stuffing things inside her jacket.

The departments responded to 111 calls for service.
