Flathead County Sheriff’s and Kalispell Police Reports

Man Says It’s Safe and Woman Gets Fourth DUI

By Julius Macker

8:23 p.m. A dog reappeared at an Evergreen school.

8:51 a.m. An inmate at the detention center pushed an officer. That’s a misdemeanor.

9:45 a.m. A gun was stolen from either Somers or Lakeside.

1:07 p.m. Someone on Foothills Road came home and their dog was gone. There was a note from the animal warden, however, informing the dog’s owner that the canine was at the vet. Apparently the dog had a wound on its chest from a harness.

3:18 p.m. There was a report of an accidental overdose on Eighth Avenue East North in Columbia Falls.

3:51 p.m. A man in Bigfork, who calls the sheriff’s office habitually, called again. As usual, he said everything was OK in Bigfork and any report otherwise was false. He also mentioned that he hadn’t done anything wrong.

4:46 p.m. A deceased dog was found on Edgewood Drive.

5:41 p.m. A woman thought a man, who was in her yard, was potentially poaching elk.

5:43 p.m. A man and woman are threatening each other via the Internet.

10:36 p.m. There were no flames, but a house in Bigfork was full of smoke.

2:50 a.m. A woman in Evergreen was reportedly doing weird things. She kept pulling her car into a driveway, getting out of it, then backing up and pulling in again. Turns out that the 43-year-old woman was drunk. It was her fourth DUI.

The departments responded to 137 calls for service.
