WildKats’ Trio of Twos smothers Glacier, 44-25

By Beacon Staff

With an intense defensive performance before a sizable crowd, the Columbia Falls Wildkats smothered the Glacier Wolfpack girls Friday night 44-25.

A trio of twos were Glacier’s downfall: the 2nd quarter, the 4th quarter and the DeWit sisters.

Kayla (#14, sophomore) and Kelsey (#40, junior) DeWit led a tenacious WildKat defense shut down the Wolfpack – allowing only two points in each of the second and fourth quarters.

Led by their lone senior, guard Alyssa Ladenburg (#21), the relatively young Kats appear well positioned to make their mark in the Northwest over the next few years. They’re a lot of fun to watch, so come on out and join the crowd.

Below, shooters facing the Kats have *this* to deal with (the DeWits again), not to mention having the rest of the defense coming at them
