Injured Logger and Drunk Driver

8:48 a.m. Someone’s ex-business partner harassed him or her via the telephone.

9:01 a.m. An ex-employee of a Bigfork grocer made disparaging remarks.

9:22 a.m. The front door of an Evergreen business was kicked in. All the computers and telephones were reported stolen.

9:49 a.m. A gray Dodge was parked on, or quite near, a ski run at Whitefish Mountain Resort. Apparently, it was stuck.

10 a.m. A logger was injured when a log flipped off the line and struck him in the back. He was transported to the hospital.

12:23 p.m. A mother accidentally locked her baby in the car. She was referred to a locksmith.

12:41 p.m. An employee at a Lakeside casino could be facing criminal charges. An undisclosed amount of cash is missing.

1:03 p.m. A snowboard that was previously reported stolen was confiscated.

1:08 p.m. A woman got home and her TV was gone, so she reported it stolen. Somehow, though, she found it a short time later.

1:44 p.m. A dog was at large. Its owner was cited.

2:09 p.m. An electrical fire in a home on North Main Street in Kalispell was put out.

3:42 p.m. A driver who had pulled their Ford Mustang off to the side of the road was taken into custody on suspicion of drunken driving. They also were in possession of dangerous drugs.

6:48 p.m. A horse saddle was reported stolen. It wasn’t though.

7:19 p.m. A 47-year-old man went to jail after he punched his stepson.

7:52 p.m. A 38–year-old woman needed a place to stay. She got a room at the Samaritan House.

10:24 p.m. A man, who was slumped over a steering wheel of a gold sedan, was just snoozing.

The departments responded to 138 calls for service.
