Young Musicians Fill Glacier Discovery Center

By Beacon Staff

Thursday night, the Glacier Discovery Center echoed with voice, violin and piano as students with as little as a few weeks of training proudly showed off their skills.

An audience of about 50 parents, grandparents and friends enjoyed an hour of classical piano, violin and song from students ranging in age from six to 29 or so.

Justin gives his music a staredown as he plays “Snake Charmer”. His instructor, Terry DeGroot, looks on from a comforting distance.
