Nuisance Pit Bull

12:53 a.m. Pain in the hip area was reported on Liberty Street in Kalispell.

6:41 a.m. A semi truck and train collided. Everyone was OK.

8:14 a.m. Dogs were at large on Scarborough.

8:33 a.m. Dogs were cruising Buckboard Lane.

9:19 a.m. A baby choked on a chip on Wisconsin Avenue in Whitefish. The tot was OK.

11:19 a.m. A woman, who was out on a leisurely stroll, went to the hospital after she fell and, perhaps, broke her ankle.

1:27 p.m. A man busted into a home on Cedar Lane in Whitefish and told the inhabitant that he was owed money. He left with a pair of skis but later returned them.

2:09 p.m. A Parklane Drive woman in Evergreen said she woke up and saw footprints leading to her window and then to her neighbor’s yard.

3:47 p.m. Somewhere in Flathead County threats were made.

4:05 p.m. A couple of 8-year-old boys were fighting.

4:32 p.m. Someone paid $3,000 to have appliances fixed. It never happened.

6:19 p.m. A woman left her purse at a sandwich shop.

6:47 p.m. A female, who was likely a minor, tried to use an expired license to buy beer. She left when confronted.

7:47 p.m. A deputy gave some kids a ride home. They live on Shady Lane.

8:41 p.m. Reportedly, a woman’s pit bull urinated on an Evergreen man’s barbecue. The man, according to law enforcement, arrived home and the dog growled at him. Soon thereafter, the dog’s owner arrived and proceeded to leave through the carport, but before they left the dog relieved itself on the man’s barbecue grill. The man then went inside the house and grabbed a rifle and, according to the woman, pointed it at her. Four other witnesses say it didn’t happen like that.

12:15 a.m. A woman was crying in the backyard of a Conrad Drive residence. A 26-year-old man went to jail.

The departments responded to 166 calls for service.
