‘Jumped’ in Hungry Horse

8:46 a.m. A woman who lives in Nashville was worried about the welfare of her 32-year-old granddaughter. She was OK.

1:11p.m. Gas was stolen. It’s not certain how.

1:42 p.m. A 16-year-old male took his dad’s vehicle without asking.

5:55 p.m. Two men allegedly beat up a registered sexual offender in Hungry Horse. The man’s wife said they beat him up, called him a child molester and then left.

6:35 p.m. Someone’s father was getting aggressive with their mother. It turned out to be verbal only. The woman took the dog and left.

7:41 p.m. A woman said a man knocked on her Airport Road apartment door for about 20 minutes. Deputies arrived, but he had already left.

8:50 p.m. A man said he was “jumped” on First Street in Hungry Horse. He alleges that two men, who he claims not to know, assaulted him and then ran off. He was unable to describe what they looked like.

9:32 p.m. A 16-year-old girl, who lives on US Highway 2, demanded that deputies meet her at her house. She said she was going to beat up by some other girls. Eventually, she canceled the report.

10:20 p.m. A woman called in because she was worried about her sister, who is sick and waiting for a liver transplant.

The departments responded to 129 calls for service.
