MISSOULA – Missoula police are investigating the severe beating of a 74-year-old transient.
The victim was taken to St. Patrick Hospital from The Oxford, a Missoula bar, on Saturday. An investigation revealed the man had been beaten in a room at the Motel 6.
Police say the man has serious and possibly life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are trying to locate two men for questioning, including one who fled the motel when officers arrived.
