Stray Peacocks and Threatened Television

7:02 a.m. A vehicle and a deer had a run in on the Highway 2 Bridge in Columbia Heights. The deer came out on the losing end.

9:51 a.m. Stray peacocks were roaming near Smith Lake Road.

10:44 a.m. A counterfeit bill was found at Lucky Logger Casino.

1:17 p.m. A dog was shot on Highway 2 East. The owner heard gunshots. The dog was taken to the vet and looks as though it should recover from its injuries.

1:25 p.m. A customer at a local electronics store, upset over a factory rebate, threatened to throw a television on the floor.

1:42 p.m. Firearms were stolen from a home on Blair Mountain Road.

2:43 p.m. Threats were reported on Bierney Creek Road in Lakeside. Officers checked into the matter and found that no crime had actually been committed.

3:44 p.m. Someone on Thompson Lane reported that their bank account had been tampered with. The case was referred to the city police.

4:04 p.m. An adult male was caught shoplifting two videogames from K-Mart.

5:00 p.m. A television and a satellite radio were stolen from a travel trailer on Ashley Lake Road.

8:32 p.m. Someone wanted officers to check in on their brother because they hadn’t heard from him in quite some time. Officers went to the brother’s house but the subject didn’t appear to be home and didn’t respond to knocking or phone calls. Officers will continue to look into the matter.

9:09 p.m. Road rage was reported on Three Mile Drive. A driver had been slamming on their breaks attempting to run another driver off the road.

1:23 a.m. A 1991 Honda Accord was stolen in Columbia Falls.
