A woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars from her Kalispell employer has pleaded not guilty.
Thirty-eight-year-old Kiersten Compofelice pleaded to felony charges of theft by embezzlement and unlawful use of a computer.
She’s accused of using her position with the Lonnevik Law Firm to forge $42,500 in checks over a period of about 20 months, ending in January. Compofelice also is accused of misusing an office credit card and transferring money from the firm’s accounts to her personal account.
She was the operations manager for the law firm.
