From Films to Plants, Upcoming Columbia Falls Activities

Here’s an update from Barry Conger with the First Best Place Task Force, a Columbia Falls volunteer organization, on activities that are happening in Columbia Falls the next few weeks:

The library is showing films every Saturday this month at 2 p.m. downstairs at the Discovery Square, starting March 7 with “Up the Yangtze.”

March 9 at 6 p.m. – Glacier Discovery Square; Heritage Days Committee planning meeting. Please come participate in the planning of this historic event.

March 11 at 12 p.m. – North Valley Community Center; Chamber of Commerce general meeting. All are welcome. Lunch served ($10).

March 12 at 5 p.m. – Dr. Roger Newman’s office- 160 Nucleus; After Hours Mixer. All are invited to come share some Irish cheer with Dr. Newman and friends. Corned beef and Celtic music.

March 17 at 7 a.m. – Back Room Restaurant; Chamber of Commerce economic development meeting. All are welcome.

March 18 at 5:30 p.m. – Glacier Discovery Square; Montana Native Plant Society workshop on landscaping with native plants. All are welcome and it’s free. Lecture begins at 7p.m. General meeting of the Plant Society at 5:30 p.m. (public also invited to attend)
