Three Players Named All-State From Glacier, One From Flathead

By Beacon Staff

For a basketball program that’s only two years old, Glacier High School has definitely made a name for itself for both boys and girls. This was made clear with the recent announcement of the Class AA all-state teams.

Senior guard Ben Cutler and junior forward Shay Smithwick-Hann were selected all-state for boys, while senior Emilee Hashley got the nod for girls. All three were also named first team all-conference. Senior Lindsea Vaudt earned honorable mention all-conference.

Flathead High School was rewarded as well. Senior guard Kelsey Hildal, a transfer from Ohio, was named all-state in her only season as a Bravette. Meanwhile, the Braves placed two boys on Western AA’s all-conference squads: junior forward Karl Ingram, second team; and freshman George Sherwood, honorable mention.
