Missing Blue Heelers

11:20 a.m. A grass fire was extinguished in about five minutes.

11:50 a.m. A pair of blue heeler puppies were reported as missing or possibly stolen on Highway 2 in Evergreen.

12:01 p.m. A suicidal female was breaking things in her home and threatening to harm herself. She was taken to the hospital for a mental heath evaluation.

12:51 p.m. An 18-year-old pregnant woman was suffering from childbirth complications and was transported to the hospital.

1:36 p.m. A 38-year-old male was caught shoplifting cold medicine at a local shopping center.

1:49 p.m. Officers attempted to locate a partner assault suspect.

2:17 p.m. A man was missing from the Wilderness Treatment Center. He was located and returned to the facility.

2:56 p.m. Someone on Arbour Drive was receiving harassing phone calls from vendors. The vendors were called and asked to stop.

3:17 p.m. Some renters trashed the home they had been renting in Lakeside and the landlord wanted to report the damage.

4:39 p.m. Two children, a 7-year-old and a 12-year-old, were late arriving to their babysitter. Their concerned mother, who was in Spokane, reported the children as missing. The children were a half-hour late in getting dropped off but they were fine. The report was canceled.

7:05 p.m. Two males were harassing a female on her cell phone. All parties were counseled.

7:31 p.m. A 1-year-old boy in Kila got something lodged in his throat. The Smith Valley Fire Department responded and he was OK – a transport to the hospital wasn’t needed.

10:27 p.m. There was a noise complaint on Highway 2. Reportedly there was loud party with music and yelling. When officers arrived the home was dark with no noise. The TV was a little loud and the residents there wer asked to turn it down.

12:03 a.m. A female heard thumping outside of her trailer on Plentywood Drive and suspected a prowler. Officers were unable to locate a suspect.

12:45 a.m. A group of people was having a bonfire on Alpine Court. They told officers the party was wrapping up for the night and they would keep it quiet.

2:25 a.m. The Whitefish Police Department helped a citizen change a tire.

3:50 a.m. A suspicious vehicle was parked on Caroline Road. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.
