BOZEMAN – A Gallatin County district judge has ordered Yellowstone Club owner Edra Blixseth to pay just over $1 million to a Bozeman bank for defaulting on a loan.
District Judge Mike Salvagni awarded a default judgment to American Bank on Thursday. Blixseth did not attend the hearing.
Court records say Blixseth took out the loan in 2006 in the name of her furniture business, Monarch Furniture and Design Group, which is based in Bozeman.
Representatives from American Bank say they stopped receiving payments toward the end of 2008.
In late February, Salvagni gave American Bank permission to begin seizing property from Blixseth and her son, Matthew Crocker, after the two became delinquent on $156,000 of a $350,000 loan taken out in 2006.
A Colorado judge has ordered Blixseth and Crocker to repay more than $13 million after they defaulted on a loan with Western Capital Partners LLC.
Crocker has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
