Kelsey Hildal, an all-state point guard for the Flathead Bravettes this winter, has been invited to walk on to the women’s basketball team at the University of Montana.
After transferring from Ohio, Hildal became one of the top players in Montana in only one season of play. She averaged 18.8 points per game, including nearly 20 points per game in conference contests. The 5-foot-4 guard scored a school-record 39 points against Missoula Big Sky. Hildal also averaged 2.4 steals and made 36 three-pointers, fourth most in the state.
