First Best Place Task Force ‘Tweets’ About Town Events

By Beacon Staff

The First Best Place Task Force, a Columbia Falls community group, has joined the millions of people updating their followers on Twitter.

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging site that enables people to send and read other users’ updates, or “tweets.” Tweets are up to 140 characters in length and are displayed on the user’s profile page and delivered to other users who have subscribed to “follow” them.

If this all sounds totally foreign and confusing to you, that’s okay; I’m not sure how I feel about it all either. But if you’re into this type of thing, follow “firstbestplace” on Twitter for up-to-date information on Columbia Falls activities. You can also check the group’s Web site – www.firstbestplace.org – for information, and to read their blog.
