Whitefish High School Names Two New Coaches

By Beacon Staff

Whitefish High School has named new coaches for girl’s basketball and soccer teams.

Sean Duff will coach the basketball team while Erin Morrison takes over the soccer program.

Activities director Jackie Fuller announced the appointments.

Duff takes over for Tim Olson, who stepped down after three seasons to watch his sons play sports. Olson’s teams posted a 29-38 record and advanced to the Class A state tournament one. Duff was Olson’s assistant.

Morrison replaces Lini Reading, who resigned this spring after 15 seasons, two state championships and three runner-up finishes. She says she wants to spend more time with her family.

Morrison is from Salt Lake and played college soccer at Notre Dame De Namur University in San Diego.
