GREAT FALLS – A fire burned historic buildings in downtown Great Falls over the weekend.
The fire was burning on the 600 block of Central Avenue in downtown Great Falls late Saturday night and into Sunday morning.
Area fire fighters were battling the blaze early Sunday morning. Some building occupants were evacuated.
Attempts to reach fire department officials for updates were unsuccessful later on Sunday.
