8:33 a.m. Someone was strolling down Highway 35 screaming at cars and flashing obscene gestures. He was later found to be involved with dangerous drugs.
10:04 a.m. An individual had questions regarding drug activity in the Hungry Horse area.
11:04 a.m. A car supposedly hit a fire hydrant, causing it to gush large amounts of water. The guilty party was found to be the Water Department safely opening the hydrant during a routine check.
12:20 p.m. A dog chased another dog on Flathead Drive.
12:35 p.m. A young girl chose to leave school for the day.
1:05 p.m. A man injured himself while wielding a chainsaw. He was 35 up a tree at the time.
1:23 p.m. Bandannas were stolen from a local box store.
2:10 p.m. In Creston, “a lot of cars were coming and going.” Gunshots were also heard.
3:37 p.m. A building described as big and tan with an orange roof was reportedly on fire. Upon closer investigation a nearby wood pile was ablaze.
4:30 p.m. A man at a local box store took a bike tire without paying.
5:53 p.m. A black bear was spotted on Big Horn Drive.
6:23 p.m. Someone attempted to drive through a tree at Lawrence Park.
6:58 p.m. A female took cosmetics from a local box store.
7:06 p.m. A baby squirrel on Second Avenue had a broken leg.
7:13 p.m. Two concerned drivers at a Hungry Horse establishment screamed at one another.
8:15 p.m. A mountain lion has frequented an individual’s yard, most recently attacking the resident’s domestic cat.
11:25 p.m. Someone stole $500 from a home on Cheery Lynn Road. The homeowner doesn’t know what he wants to do about it.
12:09 a.m. Yelling and gunshots were heard in Lakeside.
12:38 a.m. An individual renting a room on Ridgewood Drive is no longer welcome.
4:22 a.m. A local gas station was apparently unattended except for a child in a sleeping bag behind the counter. The responsible party was later found in a back room.
4:30 a.m. Someone heard footsteps on their deck.
