Black Bear Spotted and Man Scratched by Lynx

6:51 a.m. A white Subaru repeatedly veered over the centerline near Creston. The driver arrived home safely.

9:08 a.m. An espresso stand had been ransacked in the night.

10:28 a.m. Someone overheard what may have been threats next door. Authorities arrived and found it to be safe.

10:48 a.m. A dog was chasing livestock on Pine Cone Lane. The elusive creature fled before it could be apprehended.

11:38 a.m. A black bear was spotted at Somers School. The school was advised to keep all children indoors.

11:52 a.m. Someone received a suspicious fax from London. He believes that it is part of a scam.

12:16 p.m. A greenhouse window was broken in Hungry Horse. The area will be more closely monitored in the future.

12:18 p.m. Two large dogs were wandering around Coram. It appears to be their regular routine.

1:16 p.m. Someone bought a new car and neglected to inform his neighbors. The unfamiliar vehicle aroused suspicion in the neighborhood.

2:07 p.m. A microwave was stolen in Kila.

3:53 p.m. A gentleman claims that his ex-wife put a bill in his daughter’s name.

4:10 p.m. A boy shot a window on Riley Lane. His weapon of choice was a pellet gun.

5:31 p.m. A bear was spotted on the highway north of Reserve.

6:48 p.m. Two teen girls engaged in a verbal argument.

7:36 p.m. A man was scratched by a ferocious lynx on River Park Road.

12:33 a.m. A Swan Hill Drive resident heard a grizzly bear groaning outside his home.
