Roaming Steed and a Volatile Grill

6:55 a.m. Two intoxicated men on Willow Glen drive could not get along.

7:05 a.m. A gentleman on Lower Valley Road stepped out in front of a moving vehicle and proceeded to gesture obscenely at the driver. He was identified as wearing a hat and trench coat and carrying a paper bag.

7:32 a.m. A maroon van was hurtling carelessly down Willow Glen Drive.

7:58 a.m. A golf ball collided with a vehicle, causing considerable damage.

8:22 a.m. Horses on Helena Flats road are in the habit of leaning on a neighbor’s fence. They have damaged the fence many times over the course of their fence-leaning lives.

9:33 a.m. Someone overheard what may have been a neighbor beating a dog and firing a total of five shots. Authorities responded and found that no animals had been harmed.

9:40 a.m. A suspicious vehicle parked at a Columbia Falls sawmill actually belonged to an employee.

11:15 a.m. A truck driving down Holt Drive left a trail of discarded cardboard.

11:27 a.m. In Kila, someone verbally assaulted a meter reader who was attempting to remove equipment.

11:56 a.m. An injured dog was removed from an Evergreen schoolyard.

12:04 p.m. A white horse was spotted running north from the roller rink on Shady Lane. He was quickly apprehended by an off-duty fireman.

12:06 p.m. Someone found a parcel of marijuana at a Hungry Horse construction site.

12:09 p.m. At a local gas station, an unknown individual filled the dumpster with their personal garbage.

1:06 p.m. Someone is reportedly shooting cats on Tamarack Lane.

3:21 p.m. A blown 18-wheeler tire was obstructing Highway 2.

3:51 p.m. A dog killed several ducks on Lake Blaine Road.

5:01 p.m. An unfortunate gentleman was at the receiving end of an exploding barbecue grill. His injuries were treated at the scene.

8:16 p.m. An 18-year-old male was punching holes in the walls of his own home. He left on foot before authorities arrived.

9:29 p.m. An intoxicated gentleman in Columbia Falls was spouting threats and refused to leave a friend’s home.

12:34 a.m. A woman on Shady Lane was concerned about her inebriated husband throwing objects around the home. The two separated for the night.
