Stolen Cat and a Skidder Ride

1:48 a.m. In Bigfork, a homeowner was wary of the strange man on her deck. He was making a valiant effort to enter the home, evidently believing that it was the residence of a friend.

3:28 a.m. Someone followed an Evergreen resident home, pulling into a neighbor’s driveway. The reporting party then drove away again and was followed for another 30 seconds.

7:17 a.m. A vial of white powder was confiscated at the Flathead County Detention Center.

7:42 a.m. Someone’s stepson broke in through the front door.

8:09 a.m. An unidentified creature viciously attacked a dog on South Meadows Drive.

9:30 a.m. A youth in Bigfork was threatening to beat up his mom and brother.

10:25 a.m. Though it irritates the neighbors, the shooting that occurs on Blacktail Road is completely legal.

10:30 a.m. Several days ago, an individual failed to meet up with his wife at a Coram bar. She has not been seen since.

11:35 a.m. A small baby mountain lion was loitering in a Lakeside yard. The mother was nowhere to be seen.

1:51 p.m. A Marion youth left home last night and did not return until early this morning. When confronted, he took off into the woods.

2:17 p.m. Eight to 10 children were reportedly being transported in an unsafe manner. They were riding either in the back of a white truck or the boat it pulled.

4:42 p.m. A fight in the parking lot of a local bank resulted in one unconscious male and an abandoned van.

5:31 p.m. A drunken individual refused to leave an Evergreen gas station.

5:41 p.m. Four or five subjects were bothering someone’s granddaughter. The reporting party suspected that they were drug dealers looking for money.

6:27 p.m. Broken eggs were spattered across a Hungry Horse home.

7:47 p.m. Two teens and a dog entered a woman’s house. They then began yelling at the woman and her husband.

8:30 p.m. A young male described as “heavyset” was riding his bike along Highway 93 and apparently seemed “dazed and confused.” Authorities found him sitting on the roadside, completely coherent.

9:51 p.m. Youths in Lakeside were racing up and down a road.

9:56 p.m. A black bear cub was exploring a yard on Segiah Way and rummaging through the homeowner’s trash. The mother bear was also in the area.

10:14 p.m. Another black bear was struck by a vehicle on Dower Draw. Though the bear was injured, he is expected to survive.

10:34 p.m. Someone drove into a Whitefish ditch. Fortunately, she was not injured.

1:37 a.m. An unidentified animal is making a “high pitched growling” noise outside an individual’s home.

3:34 a.m. Someone’s neighbors were conversing loudly about drugs and taking her cat.

4:20 a.m. Several juveniles took a logging skidder for a joyride near the north end of Ashley Lake.
