Trailer Terror and a Clever Dog

6:18 a.m. Large amounts of screaming emanated from a residence in Columbia Falls. The involved parties separated for the night.

6:52 a.m. A pit bull was running amok on Caps Road.

9:04 a.m. A 16-year-old girl and her mother were verbally abusing one another.

9:21 a.m. A 3-year-old child was found by the side of the road in front of a Lower Valley Road home. Though the child claimed that both parents were at work, the mother was soon located in the home.

9:51 a.m. A horse was confiscated in Columbia Falls.

10:06 a.m. A 2-year-old child went missing near West Reserve Drive. The child was quickly found and returned home.

10:38 a.m. An adult woman on Lower Valley Road feels like she is being “exploited” by members of her family.

10:53 a.m. A dog in Columbia Falls was charging people as they walked by.

10:54 a.m. In Columbia Falls, a Labrador retriever was tied to a tree with no access to shelter.

10:57 a.m. A dump truck rolled in Whitefish. No other vehicles were involved.

11:55 a.m. A pickup truck was vandalized on Arbour Drive.

12:19 p.m. Reports of a malnourished dog on South Cedar Drive proved unfounded.

12:28 p.m. A 14-year-old female suffered hip pain after a 4-wheeler accident.

12:56 p.m. Someone called a local equestrian center and threatened to disrupt a scheduled concert event.

1:21 p.m. Someone is very upset that the electric company is blocking a lane near Lone Pine Park.

3:00 p.m. A recently arrested individual was released, much to the dismay of a neighbor. Evidently, the individual had been “terrorizing” the trailer park and the neighbor feels that he shouldn’t have returned.

3:51 p.m. An attempted burglary went awry when the would-be thief encountered the homeowner’s dog. The dog bit and cornered the individual in the home, prompting him to call for medical attention.

4:08 p.m. The parents of an 18-year-old mother feel that she is not properly caring for her 7-month-old baby. They attempted to retrieve the child, causing a great amount of yelling and general disturbance.

4:24 p.m. Two male youths riding bicycles were gesturing obscenely at passing cars.

4:34 p.m. A resident of an Evergreen trailer court tried to persuade a 9-year-old boy to come into his trailer home.

4:46 p.m. A bank bag containing $230 was stolen from a vehicle in Columbia Falls.

5:15 p.m. Two adult females took jewelry from a local big box store. They did not pay for the items.

5:57 p.m. Someone stole an unknown amount of hay in Evergreen.

6:05 p.m. A man approached a homeowner on Blankenship Road and asked if he could set traps on the homeowner’s property.

6:32 p.m. A 9-year-old fell off of a rope swing on East Reserve Drive. He was lapsing in and out of consciousness and received appropriated medical care.

7:30 p.m. An adult male was highly intoxicated and extremely combative in Whitefish.

7:44 p.m. A woman on Coon Hollow Road wanted her husband removed from the residence. Though she managed to lock him out, he still refused to leave.

8:05 p.m. Three kids were seen trying to start a fire in the woods in Hungry Horse.

8:13 p.m. An intoxicated male fell into the ditch on Lake Blaine Road. Authorities escorted him to a safe location.

9:07 p.m. Several juveniles were attempting to coerce passers-by into pawning items for them. The juveniles had been denied at the shop because of their age.

9:47 p.m. A Rottweiler leaped over a fence at the dog owner’s girlfriend and her black lab. The lab was viciously attacked.

11:38 p.m. Though a juvenile get-together at Lybecks Dyke seemed suspicious, no alcohol was involved and they had permission to use the location.

2:24 p.m. Someone was spinning brodies and throwing beer bottles at a Bigfork school.
