Granja del Cerdo Cross Country Mountain Bike Race

Join us Saturday, July 18, 2009, for the second annual Granja del Cerdo Cross Country and Single Speed Mountain Bike Race, presented by Great Northern Cycling Club. USA Cycling Event Permit #2009-1889.

The race will take place at the Pig Farm Trails located on Farm to Market Road in Whitefish. This is an event focused on fun for the entire family. Porky the Pig-nata is rumored to make another appearance. Have your little loved one take a crack and smashing Porky for some sweet little treats. Races include beginner to expert categories along with a kids race loop. Food and beverages will also be available to purchase on site as you cheer on your favorite riders.

Course Description: Rolling Terrain, short steep climbs and descents on single track.
Race Lengths
Pro Expert 24 miles (cat 1)
Sport 16 miles (cat 2)
Beginner 8 miles (cat 3)
Kids loop

Registration: Same day registration only from 8:00-10:00 a.m. T-shirt for first 50 registered.
Race Start Time: 11:00 am
Cost: $25; 15 years old and under are free.
Awards: Cash awards to expert/pro (cat 1). Merchandise to sport (cat 2), beginner (cat 3), Single Speed, and Clydsdale.

Directions: Travel north out of Kalispell on US Hwy 93. Turn west on Reserve Dr. Travel approx 3 miles west. Turn north on Farm to Market Rd. Travel approx 5 miles north. Park in a dirt parking lot located on the south east corner of Kuhns Rd and Farm to Market Rd. Registration is located approx 1/16 of a mile north of the parking area on the west side of Farm to Market Rd.
