Auditions for Glacier Chorale Scheduled

Here’s your chance to take your singing talents from the shower to the stage: Auditions for openings in the Glacier Chorale will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1 at the Glacier Symphony and Chorale office, 720 S.Main St. in Kalispell. Those interested in auditioning should e-mail director James Stanard [email protected] for an audition time. Bass singers are especially encouraged to audition.

The Glacier Chorale rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Flathead High School beginning in late September. The Chorale performs twice a year with the Glacier Symphony and once in its own featured concert.

This season the performances are: Handel’s Messiah; The Last Best Place:Montana, a multi-media concert with projected photos of the people and landscapes of Montana; and a concert of opera choruses performed with the Glacier Symphony.
