12:01 a.m. A man and his romantic partner could not get along in Lakeside. After separating for the night, one party falsely accused the other of theft.
12:07 a.m. Someone entered a Terry Road home and left with the homeowner’s wallet and backpack.
5:23 a.m. A get-together in Lakeside included five intoxicated juveniles, all of whom received charges for being minors in possession of alcohol.
6:18 a.m. Several yaks wandered about on Airport Road. They were quickly herded and returned home.
9:15 a.m. An intoxicated Martin City resident left his six-year-old son in a vehicle for several hours while the adult continued to carouse. The man was arrested for child endangerment.
10:07 a.m. Medicinal marijuana was stolen from a home on Solberg Drive. The thief entered through a window of the home.
11:55 a.m. An elderly man wandered away from an assisted-living facility in Columbia Falls. He was later found attempting to hitch a ride.
12:15 p.m. A Bachelor Grade resident claims that someone placed a pipe bomb in his mailbox, effectively destroying the receptacle. It is unknown whether a pipe bomb was indeed the explosive used.
12:39 p.m. Smoke was spotted on a boat approximately 300 yards off the shore of Whitefish Lake. The boaters were assisted and none sustained injuries.
1:35 p.m. After asking an inebriated neighbor to lower his voice, a Woodland Drive resident received pepper spray in the eyes.
1:53 p.m. Two tires, both on the same vehicle, were slashed in Columbia Falls.
3:23 p.m. Someone tossed garbage out of their car window on Highway 35
3:28 p.m. A gentleman on Sweetgrass Lane was yelling at other individuals and waving a gun. The man was informed that this behavior is unacceptable.
6:25 p.m. In Martin City, someone stole a dog. Both the victim and the thief feel that the animal is rightfully theirs.
7:14 p.m. Someone tore apart a car at a residence on Highway 35 in an attempt to remove the vehicle’s engine. The incident relates to an ownership dispute.
7:52 p.m. A box with undisclosed contents was found behind the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities disposed of the box.
8:21 p.m. A resident of Browns Meadows Road suffered lacerations on his hands after his wife attempted to stab him with a knife. He was transported to the hospital, and she was transported to jail.
10:00 p.m. Drivers on South Cedar Road encountered an unexpected surprise when a woman decided to lie down in the middle of the road. Oddly enough, she had consumed large quantities of alcoholic beverages.
10:55 p.m. Someone on Conrad Drive heard a knock on the door, only to find no one around. She found this activity highly suspicious.
