Eisinger Donates Civic Hybrid to Glacier National Park Fund

By Beacon Staff

Eisinger Motors donated a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid to the Glacier National Park Fund that the nonprofit will use over the next year to help promote the park’s centennial.

Kelly Roth, the director of development at the Glacier National Park Fund, said she approached Eisinger about using one of its hybrids and the Kalispell car dealer agreed.

“The reason we asked for it is because we drive so much around the state and to the park,” Roth said Wednesday. “We thought it was a great way to get visibility for both of us.

“For us, driving a hybrid goes with the whole ‘go green’ campaign. It’s a great way for us to say we’re doing our part to preserve and protect the park.”

Glacier National Park Fund is the official fundraising arm of Glacier National Park and supports the preservation of the natural and cultural heritage of the park.
