BILLINGS – A Montana athlete who signed on to play football at Montana State University this fall is in critical condition after the scooter he was on collided with a vehicle.
Jase Muri of Billings suffered head injuries, a fractured pelvis and a broken shoulder in the collision on Thursday in Billings.
His parents in a statement say their son’s prognosis appears to be improving. He is being treated at St. Vincent HealthCare.
Muri, 18, graduated from West High School earlier this year where he was a standout football, basketball and track athlete.
He signed on with Montana State in February as a wide receiver.
