6:41 a.m. In Whitefish, two suspicious individuals dressed all in white were loitering beneath a bridge. Come to find out, the two were a couple enjoying a morning walk.
7:28 a.m. Six residents of a Haskill Basin Road home awoke to the sound of a fire alarm indicating that the house was ablaze. All were safely evacuated, though the home sustained considerable smoke and water damage.
9:56 a.m. Logging equipment, including wood and logging chains, was stolen from a home on the North Fork Road. The items have not yet been recovered.
11:01 a.m. Authorities relocated a problem cat to the local shelter.
12:44 p.m. Someone in Kila illegally wired into an electrical transformer, circumventing an electric bill. This action is not only dangerous but constitutes a theft of services.
1:03 p.m. A golf cart was taken from a local golf course but later located nearby.
1:23 p.m. An officer at the Flathead County Detention Center tweaked his knee while performing routine duty.
1:32 p.m. Someone who recently visited the Flathead has not yet arrived at their Idaho home. The missing traveler has yet to be located.
2:18 p.m. Two teen girls in Whitefish became irate over an unknown issue and proceeded to physically harm one another. The two were separated and counseled.
3:43 p.m. Roofing nails were scattered across Highway 35 near a large convenience store. This posed a potential problem for passing motorists.
3:59 p.m. A horse on Larch Lane had not been provided with food, water or shelter and was beginning to lose its hair. Authorities have attempted to contact the pitiful creature’s owner.
5:30 p.m. A man and woman engaged in a verbal argument on Cobbler Village Lane. The problem apparently arose from a house-sitting situation.
6:14 p.m. Several youths dressed in black loitered in a local park. The reporting party believes that they may have been partaking in marijuana.
6:50 p.m. Someone broke the back window out of an abandoned vehicle near Spencer Lake.
8:05 p.m. A loose cow wandered about on Edgewood Drive in Columbia Falls. The cow was gone when authorities arrived.
8:49 p.m. An intoxicated female was seen leaning against her vehicle at Wayfarer’s State Park in Bigfork. Frighteningly enough, both the woman and vehicle were gone upon the arrival of law enforcement.
9:01 p.m. A white 4-door Buick hurtled recklessly down Highway 2 toward Kalispell from Columbia Falls. The driver apparently passed on a double yellow line and drove at an excessive rate of speed.
9:05 p.m. On 4th Street West, an oven began to billow smoke after getting stuck shut in the “on” position.
9:50 p.m. A resident of Willow Glen Drive threatened to kill his neighbor’s dog. He was informed that to do so would be inappropriate and illegal.
9:51 p.m. A resident of Willow Glen Drive called again to report that their neighbor was verbally harassing them. One of the harassing individuals was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
10:19 p.m. Bachelor Grade Road was blocked by a fallen tree. Creston Fire Department hastily removed the obstruction.
10:55 p.m. A trailer pulled behind a flatbed truck did not display taillights. A following driver felt that this was unsafe.
11:49 p.m. Several dogs were whining and barking inside a camp trailer at an Evergreen box store. Authorities responded and found all to be well.
2:14 a.m. A man threatened a woman on Ferndale Drive.
