Injured Crow and an Environmental Hazard

7:56 a.m. An intoxicated resident of Hungry Horse came home after a night of revelry and assaulted his wife. The perpetrator was gone when authorities arrived.

8:00 a.m. Two girls were evidently propositioned for lewd acts at a local casino last night. Authorities will be investigating the situation.

8:46 a.m. A pair of juveniles assaulted one another on Parliament Drive.

9:41 a.m. Two missing golf carts were found near a local furniture store. They have been returned to their rightful owner.

11:36 a.m. A resident of Mountain View Drive called to report that a neighbor has been evicted, abandoning their cats. Authorities responded and will be attending to the lonesome felines.

12:47 a.m. An elderly male suffering from dementia caused a hubbub in 6th Street in Hungry Horse. He has been taken into appropriate medical care.

2:04 p.m. Someone on Trumble Creek Road claims that a neighbor has not provided their horse with water. Responding officers found this to be entirely untrue.

2:22 p.m. An injured crow hobbled about on the old courthouse lawn. The creature refused to be captured.

2:52 p.m. Someone on Sunset Drive thought that gas had been siphoned from their gas tank. The reporting party called back later to rescind the claim.

3:05 p.m. An individual may have been mistreating a dog on Shady Lane. Neither the person nor the dog could be located when authorities arrived.

3:55 p.m. Baseball cards were stolen from a residence in Somers.

4:26 p.m. Several mailboxes were smashed on Deep Woods Trail, just north of Polebridge.

5:02 p.m. A young boy attempted to leave a local military outlet store with a pair of boots but was caught in the act.

5:39 p.m. A concerned citizen called to report that a hole has been cut in a window at a business near an Evergreen big box store. The hole has evidently been there for some time.

6:09 p.m. On Cougar Trail in Whitefish, a bull mastiff viciously attacked and killed a neighbor’s Labrador retriever.

8:30 p.m. Someone on South Cedar Drive is concerned about the well-being of a neighbor’s pet Chihuahua. Evidently, the dog is being mistreated and continually gets out of the house.

8:54 p.m. Half a gallon of gas spilled into Flathead Lake near Bigfork. All necessary measures are being taken to remedy the spill.

9:07 p.m. One adult male assaulted another in Hungry Horse.

9:37 p.m. Someone stole a mosquito zapper from a yard on River Place.

9:51 p.m. A vehicle sped down Browns Meadow Road in Kila, shooting the entire time. This resulted in one dead rabbit.

12:16 p.m. Several juveniles hid in the bushes near a Columbia Falls lumber yard, periodically jumping out and spooking passing drivers. The unruly miscreants were counseled.
