Despite a year of employment and economic-related impacts to their size and depth, the Columbia Falls Swim Team still managed to qualify 24 swimmers for the State meet in Roundup.
After a very long, hot weekend, the Swim Cats brought home two state champion medals for the girls and a second place medal for the boys: Karyssa Nelson won the 100 meter individual medley and the 100 meter freestyle, while Colton Babcock surprised several higher seeded swimmers in the final to take second place in the 50 meter breaststroke.
