Man Down and a Messy Burglar

9:08 a.m. Prescription medications and a small amount of money were stolen from a hotel room on Highway 35.

9:34 a.m. A gun was stolen from a residence on Aluminum Drive in Columbia Falls.

10:15 a.m. Someone on South Many Lakes Drive received an anonymous letter addressing her dog’s barking habit.

12:35 a.m. A stray cat was taken to the shelter from Monegan Road.

12:36 a.m. A former employee of a Bigfork beauty salon caused a ruckus at the business and was therefore invited to leave the premises.

1:41 p.m. Someone yelled obscenities at a man and his son on Parker Hill Road. This rude behavior was later found to stem from a neighborhood feud.

2:12 p.m. An abandoned vehicle seemed suspicious at a business on Helena Flats Road.

4:33 p.m. A vehicle was vandalized at a residence on KM Ranch Road.

5:02 p.m. Although they appeared to be starving, several slender horses in Somers were merely showing the effects of old age.

5:16 p.m. A sailboat tipped over on McDonald Lake in Glacier National Park. Park authorities helped right the boat and rescue all occupants.

5:20 p.m. Three women, one adult and two juvenile, stole miscellaneous clothing items from a big box store in Evergreen.

6:15 p.m. A man was seen staggering along the side of Highway 93. It is believed that he may have had too much to drink.

6:26 p.m. Someone walking down Springcreek Road in Somers seemed suspicious, though the reason for this claim is unknown.

6:43 p.m. Jewelry was stolen from a residence on Willow Glen Drive.

8:05 p.m. The owner of a rental home on Strawberry View Lane became suspicious when an individual deposited several items of furniture at the residence. The individual turned out to be a new tenant moving into the home.

8:46 p.m. A juvenile female attempted to shoplift several items of makeup from an Evergreen box store.

9:13 p.m. Authorities help extricate a horse from a barbwire fence on McMannamy Draw.

10:18 p.m. Someone spotted a man lying prone on the ground behind a Lakeside convenience store. Emergency medical professionals arrived on the scene to find that he had merely become intoxicated and fallen down.

10:50 p.m. Someone entered a residence on Gunsite Loop after knocking out the air conditioner and crawling through the window. Although no items were taken from the home, the intruder left a half-eaten sandwich on the coffee table.

2:27 a.m. Two drunken individuals on River Road both claimed ownership of the same gun. They expressed themselves with threats and disorderly behavior.

2:52 a.m. Loud party-goers on Cayuse Lane were advised to turn their volume down.
