MISSOULA – Dayton Duncan, longtime film making partner with historian Ken Burns, is coming to Montana at the end of the month to present two “sneak preview” screenings of the upcoming series “The National Parks: America’s Best Idea.”
Duncan is scheduled to be in Whitefish on Aug. 29 and in Missoula on Aug. 30 to show the new, six-part documentary series about America’s national parks and the people who devoted their lives to preserving them for the public.
The series is directed by Burns and written and co-produced by Duncan. It will air on PBS stations across the country from late September through early October.
